Thanks, Walt, for sharing John Owen’s insights with us. I think he is right on when he points out that, though we may earnestly want to be like Christ, we will make little progress in that direction if we do not regularly meditate on his glory. I often find myself to be among those who are too distracted by worldly pleasures and cares to truly give my attention to Christ and his glory. We continually need to be called back to this truth.
