Walter Hampel is the founder of the Restoring the Core initiative. He became a believer in Christ in 1984. He is married to the love of his life, Julie. He has two adult sons, a daughter-in-law and two delightful grandsons.
He holds a Master of Arts degree in Christian Theology from Ashland Theological Seminary.
His articles have been published in the Ashland Theological Journal and the Evangelical Review of Theology. He is a contributor to Testimoni Della Fede Nelle Chiese Della Reforma (Testimony of the Faith in the Churches of the Reformation), an Italian language encyclopedia of biographies of key figures in the Protestant Reformation. In addition, he is the author of the books Restoring All Things In Christ and The Capsule.
Walter Hampel has been an instructor in Christian Thought at William Tyndale College in Farmington Hills MI.
He attends Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
